The “Aiki” (Harmonizing Energy) Self-Defense Program
The “Aiki” Self-Defense program is for individuals, families, and companies seeking basic self-defense philosophy and martial art movements that work in real-life situations. Sub-titled a “Stun and Run” course, participants will learn practical techniques that require minimal effort and strength to deflect or avoid being grabbed, struck, or taken to the ground. The course is taught from a standing position, and participants are invited to wear comfortable workout clothes.

3rd-Degree Black Belt in Aikido & Others
John is a third-degree black belt in Gōjū-ryū (剛柔流) Aikido and holds other black belt degrees in TaeKwonDo, Shotokan, and Judo.

Intelligence Agency Experience
As a former defense contractor assigned to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other intelligence agencies, John has trained personnel in defensive tactics and other lifesaving and awareness skills.

Work with Professionals
John has certified military and government personnel, police officers, first responders, and civilian organizations in a range of “use of force” policies.
In the domain of awareness, as a Certified Consulting Hypnotherapist (CH), John has instructed first responders, law enforcement, and special agents in proven methods of expanding everyday awareness to a heightened level leading to improved conscious and subconscious perception and elevated personal safety in all situations.
You will learn to use many of these techniques during the course to benefit your daily life.
